Litigation Of Counsel

Job Overview:
A highly regarded national law firm is seeking an experienced Of Counsel attorney to join its litigation practice group. This role is focused on high-level pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, with a strong emphasis on Daubert and Rule 702 motion practice. The position offers a hybrid work model and is suited for candidates with extensive experience in complex products liability litigation who can lead case strategy and provide mentorship to junior lawyers.

Location:

• San Juan, PR

Duties:

• Draft and revise discovery responses, legal briefs, motions, and memoranda

• Supervise and provide guidance to junior associates

• Communicate directly with clients on case developments and legal strategy

• Collaborate with expert witnesses and consultants

• Participate in and support depositions and fact-gathering efforts

• Lead strategic planning for Daubert and Rule 702 motion practice

• Contribute to and oversee complex product liability litigation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of litigation experience

• Prior experience in an AmLaw 100 or similarly sophisticated legal environment preferred

• Proven track record in Daubert and Rule 702 motion writing and litigation

• Experience handling pharmaceutical or medical device-related products liability cases

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

• Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized institution

Certifications:

• Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of application

• Admission to the New York Bar strongly encouraged
