Mid-Level Litigation Associate

Job Overview:
A leading national law firm is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Litigation Associate with a focus on pharmaceutical and medical device litigation. This role involves high-level brief writing, Daubert and Rule 702 motion practice, and collaboration with expert witnesses in complex litigation matters. The ideal candidate will bring strong litigation experience and an aptitude for managing multifaceted legal issues.

Location:

• San Juan, PR

Duties:

• Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and legal memoranda

• Engage with clients on strategic and day-to-day matters

• Supervise and mentor junior associates

• Collaborate with expert witnesses in developing case positions

• Assist in factual development and conduct depositions

• Contribute to the formulation of litigation strategies and trial preparation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm

• Substantial experience with Rule 702 and Daubert motion practice

• Prior involvement in pharmaceutical or medical device litigation preferred

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex case matters

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

• Strong academic credentials from nationally recognized institutions

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the applicable U.S. jurisdiction

• Admission to the New York Bar is preferred but not required
