Job Overview

A distinguished law firm is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented eDiscovery Attorney to support its Litigation and Information Governance teams. This is a non-partnership track role suited for a motivated attorney with experience in the EDRM lifecycle. The successful candidate will manage complex eDiscovery projects, collaborate across legal and technical teams, and contribute to high-impact litigation matters.

Location

  • San Juan, PR

Duties

  • Manage eDiscovery workflows and legal review processes in large, complex litigation matters

  • Supervise and coordinate project execution to meet timelines, budgets, and firm standards

  • Draft and negotiate discovery-related orders, protocols, and agreements

  • Act as liaison between internal legal teams, clients, and third-party vendors

  • Coordinate data identification and collection with case teams and clients

  • Develop and oversee review workflows, including quality control and production preparation

  • Provide training and feedback to review attorneys to ensure performance quality

  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and billing processes

  • Maintain a collaborative team culture while ensuring compliance with firm policies

Requirements

  • Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction of practice

  • 3–5 years of relevant legal experience in eDiscovery (law firm, in-house, or government)

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Availability to engage in virtual meetings and work at a computer for extended periods

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or LL.M. from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active bar license in the applicable state of employment

Skills

  • Strong legal analysis and writing ability

  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in conceptual thinking and persuasive communication

  • Business acumen and judgment in legal project management

  • Ability to influence, train, and guide review teams

  • Familiarity with eDiscovery platforms and EDRM processes
