Trust & Estate Planning Associate

Job Overview:
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Trust & Estate Planning Associate Attorney to join its Taxation & Wealth Planning Department in the Blue Bell, PA office. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level associate with 2–5 years of experience in estate planning and administration, particularly for high-net-worth individuals. Location:

• Blue Bell, Pennsylvania

Duties:

• Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and related structures

• Assist in the administration of estates and trusts, including preparation and review of estate tax returns

• Conduct legal research and prepare memos related to tax and wealth planning issues

• Structure and advise on planning for family-owned businesses and life insurance

• Collaborate with clients on tax strategies and succession planning for sophisticated estates

• Work closely with senior attorneys on implementation of advanced estate plans

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience in trust and estate planning, administration, and taxation

• Strong understanding of federal estate and gift tax rules and compliance

• Experience with high-net-worth clients and complex family planning structures

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without current or future sponsorship

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

• LLM in Taxation preferred but not required

Skills:

• Strong legal research and analytical capabilities

• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and tax return review

• Ability to manage multiple client matters and meet deadlines
