Intellectual Property Associate Attorney

A law firm based in Washington, DC, is seeking an Intellectual Property Associate Attorney. The candidate will be responsible for patent preparation and prosecution, patent licensing, performing patentability and clearance opinions, portfolio management, and conducting due diligence.

Duties:

• Conduct patent preparation and prosecution tasks.
• Facilitate patent licensing agreements.
• Perform patentability and clearance opinions.
• Manage intellectual property portfolios.
• Conduct thorough due diligence investigations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
• Demonstrated excellent academic credentials.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in intellectual property law.
