Attorney with 4-6 years of commercial litigation experience

A law firm in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, is seeking an Attorney with 4-6 years of experience in the area of commercial litigation. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, licensed in good standing to practice law in Florida, and possess strong drafting/writing and research skills. They should also demonstrate the ability and confidence to independently manage cases, including pre-trial preparation, court appearances, motions, depositions, mediations, negotiations, and trials. A portable book of business is considered a plus.

Duties:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of commercial litigation cases in both state and federal courts.
• Perform thorough legal research and analysis and draft high-quality legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and trial briefs.
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, mediations, negotiations, and trials.
• Handle depositions and examine witnesses during the discovery process.
• Develop and execute effective trial strategies and courtroom advocacy.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing regular case updates and ensuring client needs are met.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex cases.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards in legal practice.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Licensed to practice law in good standing in the state of Florida.
• Strong drafting and legal writing skills.
• Confidence and ability to manage cases independently.
• Experience in pre-trial preparation, court appearances, depositions, mediations, negotiations, and trials.

Education:
