Associate Attorney needed for Tustin office

Job Overview: A law firm in Tustin, CA, is seeking an Associate Attorney to assist senior attorneys in all stages of litigation and legal proceedings. The ideal candidate will have strong research, writing, and analytical skills, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Assist senior attorneys in all stages of litigation and legal proceedings
• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Review and analyze legal documents for accuracy and compliance
• Attend client meetings, depositions, hearings, and trials as needed
• Maintain communication with clients and opposing counsel

Requirements:

• 0-2 years of experience as a licensed attorney
• Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Prior litigation/trial experience is a plus

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar of California or eligibility for admission
