Springfield office of our client seeks an associate attorney with 1+ year of experience in education law, labor/employment law, or municipal law. The candidate should preferably have knowledge of all aspects of education law, including special education and Section 504, student discipline/HIB, public school contracts, labor negotiations, board operations, personnel matters, tenure and seniority, civil rights, employment discrimination, and school construction.
The candidate must have strong academic credentials. Strong writing skills are required. The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team is essential. The firm offers a flexible work schedule, the ability to work partially remote, and a competitive benefits package including 401K, health benefits, CLEs, and paid time off.
