Job Overview

A prominent law firm is seeking a mid-level Commercial Contracts & Supply Chain Associate Attorney to join its Business Group. This position involves advising business clients across diverse industries, with an emphasis on contracts related to the consumer goods and products sectors. The ideal candidate will have strong transactional experience and an ability to manage complex commercial matters effectively.

Location

Duties

  • Draft, negotiate, and review a wide variety of commercial contracts

  • Focus on agreements such as Manufacturing Agreements, Distribution Agreements, Sales Broker Agreements, Raw Material Supply Agreements, Packaging Supply Agreements, Equipment Leases, Equipment Purchase Agreements, and Product Purchase and Sale/Supply Agreements

  • Advise clients on contract law, risk management, and operational matters

  • Collaborate with cross-practice attorneys across multiple offices

  • Provide strategic legal advice on supply chain and commercial operations

  • Manage multiple ongoing projects and transactions efficiently

  • Maintain and build strong client relationships through excellent communication and service

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial contract drafting, negotiation, and review

  • Strong understanding of contract law and risk management principles

  • Experience working with clients in the consumer goods and/or consumer products industries preferred

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse industries

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
