Defense Personal Injury Attorney

A law firm in New York, NY, is seeking a Defense Personal Injury Attorney with at least 3 years of experience in personal injury insurance defense. The candidate will be responsible for managing the defense of multiple personal injury cases, appearing in court for various proceedings, conducting depositions, and preparing legal documents.

Duties:

• Managed the defense of 75 personal injury cases from their inception to conclusion.
• Attend in-person and virtual court appearances for conferences, motions, and hearings in all NYC counties.
• Conduct and defend depositions, both in-person and virtually.
• Prepare Summary Judgment motions, opposition papers, pleadings, and discovery documents.
• Review, evaluate, and report on medical records, depositions, court appearances, and motions.

Requirements:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury insurance defense.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
