A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Atlanta, GA, office as a key member of a fast-paced Payments & Fintech practice group, supporting innovative financial-technology and digital-payments clients.

Duties

  • Draft, review, and negotiate sophisticated commercial agreements for payment processors, digital-wallet platforms, and fintech solutions

  • Advise on outsourcing arrangements, technology-licensing deals, and related service-provider contracts

  • Partner with regulatory and compliance specialists to address evolving payments industry requirements

  • Coordinate with product, IT, and risk teams to align legal strategies with business objectives

  • Oversee multiple high-priority projects, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met

Requirements

  • 3+ years of transactional experience, preferably in fintech, payment systems, or technology licensing

  • Proven ability to negotiate complex commercial contracts in the technology or financial services sectors

  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

  • Capacity to juggle concurrent matters in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment

  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities

Education

  • Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active admission to the Georgia State Bar
