Attorney needed for Las Vegas office

A law firm is seeking an Attorney for their Las Vegas office. The Attorney will be responsible for independently handling litigated files, with a focus on civil litigation. Preferred candidates will have experience with insurance coverage and bad faith cases. Strong academic credentials, exceptional writing skills, and interpersonal abilities are essential for success in this role.

Duties:

• Independently manage litigated files, including drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues related to civil litigation.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in cases.
• Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy and development.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
• Meet deadlines and manage caseload efficiently.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar of Nevada.
• 3+ years of experience in civil litigation.
• Experience with insurance coverage and bad faith cases preferred.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Exceptional writing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
