Corporate/Tax Transactions Associate Attorney

A law firm in Alexandria is seeking a Corporate/Tax Transactions Associate Attorney to predominantly work on tax, corporate, healthcare, and biotech law matters. The candidate will conduct legal research, work directly with corporate clients, and support the firm's partner across various legal practice areas. Fluency in Korean is required, along with a strong work ethic, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on tax, corporate, healthcare, and biotech law issues.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and regulatory filings.
• Work directly with corporate clients to provide legal advice and support.
• Assist with tax planning, compliance, and transactional matters.
• Support the firm's partner in all aspects of the legal practice.
• Communicate effectively in Korean with clients and team members.
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex legal projects and transactions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail and handle workload efficiently under time constraints.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active Bar license.
• Prior work or academic experience with healthcare, biotech, regulatory, tax, and/or transactional law.
• Strong work ethic and superior organizational skills.
• Excellent legal research, communication, and writing skills.
• Desire to grow with the firm and work both independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Korean.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

Active Bar license.
