Senior Criminal Defense Attorney

Location:

Duties:

• Advise clients on their legal rights, possible defenses, and case strategy

• Draft and review legal documents including motions, briefs, and discovery responses

• Represent clients at pretrial hearings, trials, and post-conviction proceedings

• Analyze case facts and develop legal strategies using knowledge of relevant precedents

• Interview witnesses and coordinate expert testimony

• Prepare clients for depositions and courtroom appearances

• Manage a caseload of criminal defense matters from intake through resolution

• Collaborate with legal assistants and junior attorneys to ensure client service standards are met

• Gather and review evidence to support defense or challenge prosecution claims

• Provide clear communication and updates to clients throughout the legal process

Requirements:

• 4–5 years of criminal defense experience, including trial and litigation work

• Proficiency handling complex cases at federal, state, and municipal levels

• Strong understanding of criminal procedure, evidence, and case law

• Demonstrated success in courtroom advocacy and negotiation

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the State of Nevada

• Member in good standing with the Nevada State Bar
