Criminal Defense Attorney

Location:

Duties:

• Represent clients in criminal proceedings at the federal, state, and local levels

• Provide legal counsel and strategic advice on criminal matters and defense options

• Draft legal documents including motions, responses, and client advisories

• Manage all aspects of the litigation process including trials, hearings, and court appearances

• Conduct witness interviews and depositions; gather supporting evidence

• Analyze legal precedents and case law to assess likely case outcomes

• Prepare clients for court appearances and depositions

• Develop and execute case strategies to support favorable legal outcomes

• Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the legal process

• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal assistants on complex criminal cases

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of criminal defense experience

• Proven experience with complex criminal litigation at multiple court levels

• Ability to manage a full caseload independently

• Strong courtroom presence and advocacy skills

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required

• Team-oriented with a strong willingness to strategize and support peers

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the State of Nevada

• Member in good standing with the Nevada State Bar
