Senior Associate Attorney needed for Conshohocken office

Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a highly experienced Senior Associate Attorney to join its litigation teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in handling large, complex, and fast-paced contentious cases, including multi-jurisdictional lawsuits. The Senior Associate Attorney will serve as the primary or junior associate on mass tort and class action cases in the US, taking the lead on smaller individual cases with guidance from senior associates and partners.

Job Details:

• Work with litigation teams on large, complex, and fast-paced contentious cases, including some multi-jurisdictional cases.
• Serve as either the primary or junior associate on large mass tort and class action cases pending in the US.
• Take the lead on smaller individual cases with guidance from senior associates and partners.
• Collaborate with UK and Brazilian counterparts to build and litigate multijurisdictional (international) lawsuits.
• Assist the firm in achieving its professional objectives.
• Contribute to the firm's business development, including raising the firm’s profile through marketing activities and developing referral and co-counsel relationships.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a litigation attorney in a product liability, personal injury, mass tort, or medical malpractice group.
• Superior academic background, including academic transcript for those 2 or fewer years out of law school.
• Strong technical skills with experience in US civil litigation, preferably with experience in product liability, mass torts, class actions, and personal injury claims.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand clients’ needs and adopt the best-case strategy.
• Great attention to detail and accuracy to produce work consistently of a high standard.
• Very strong organizational skills, file management, and time/record-keeping.
• Confident communicator is able to work calmly under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by previous collaborative work with external and internal parties.
• A demonstrably flexible approach to work to ensure client deadlines are met, and clients are communicated with efficiently.
• A willingness and eagerness to travel both domestically and abroad.
• Experience in pro-bono or social justice/human rights work is desired.
