Technology and IP Transactions Associate Attorney

A law firm in New York City is seeking a Technology and IP Transactions Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience to work on a wide range of transactions for public and private companies across various industries. The ideal candidate will have outstanding credentials and qualifications.

Duties:

• Work on a variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, joint ventures, strategic alliances, and restructurings.
• Draft and negotiate software and systems agreements, outsourcing agreements, R&D agreements, collaboration agreements, and other commercial agreements.
• Handle licenses for patents, trademarks, copyrights, and data/databases.
• Provide legal advice and support on technology and IP-intensive matters.
• Conduct due diligence and assist with transactional closings.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff on transactional matters.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience with technology and IP-intensive transactions or other relevant experience.
• Outstanding credentials and qualifications.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission by waiver.
