Mid-Level Private Equity Debt Finance Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in New York City is seeking a Mid-Level Private Equity Debt Finance Associate Attorney with experience representing private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders. Duties:

• Represent private equity sponsors, banks, and private credit lenders in various transactions, including term and revolving loan facilities for leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, and corporate growth.
• Draft and negotiate commitment papers, credit agreements, and collateral documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support transactional matters.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients on complex financial transactions.
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on client matters.

Requirements:

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Experience in debt finance, particularly in private equity transactions.
• Strong understanding of financial and lending concepts.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• NY Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• NY Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
