A law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking a Senior Commercial Real Estate Attorney with a portable book of business. The ideal candidate will have 21 years of experience representing commercial real estate acquirers, sellers, developers, financiers, managers, or users, focusing on communication, collaboration, and execution.

Duties:
• Represent clients in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, development, financing, and leasing.
• Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to clients on complex real estate matters.
• Conduct due diligence on various real estate interests and review related documentation.
• Address financial and accounting issues related to commercial real estate transactions.
• Manage and review title opinions, draft objection letters, and resolve title issues.
• Develop deep insights into commercial real estate markets in Texas and nationwide.
• Collaborate with developers, banks, businesses, and entrepreneurs to provide tailored legal solutions.

Requirements:
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the DC Bar.
• 21 years of experience in commercial real estate law.
• A portable book of business is preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of commercial real estate transactions and industry standards.
• Familiarity with managing and reviewing title opinions and resolving title issues.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Certifications:
Active membership in good standing with the DC Bar.

Education:
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
