Consumer Protection Litigation and Compliance Associate Attorney

Redwood City office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a consumer protection litigation and compliance associate attorney with 3-6 years of litigation experience. The candidate must have demonstrated consumer class action experience. Experience with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, state mini-TCPA laws, and automatic renewal laws would be a plus. Experience in other complex litigation areas, including consumer protection, unfair competition, and false and deceptive advertising, is preferred. Familiarity with investigations and proceedings initiated by the Federal Trade Commission, Federal Communications Commission, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and other federal and state regulatory agencies is an asset. Should ideally have hands-on litigation experience and will want to gain further responsibility and experience in the following areas: handling discovery and litigation discovery disputes, taking and defending depositions, conducting witness interviews, drafting and arguing pleadings and motions, and managing cases on a day-to-day basis. Must have CA Bar membership in good standing.

The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication and advocacy skills. Excellent legal writing and research skills are required.
