Associate Attorney needed for Miami office

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney for civil and commercial litigation in Miami, FL.

Job Overview:

The Associate Attorney will assist in various aspects of civil and commercial litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions, handling discovery, attending hearings, and supporting supervising attorneys in trials. The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical and writing skills, demonstrate a passion for litigation, and preferably have Law Review experience.

Duties:

• Write pleadings and motions in civil litigation cases in state and federal court.
• Manage discovery processes in civil litigation cases in state and federal court.
• Attend hearings in civil litigation and commercial cases.
• Assist supervising attorney in jury and bench trials.

Requirements:

• Law degree from an accredited institution.
• Admitted to the Bar.
• Top 25% ranking in law class preferred.
• Preference for candidates with Law Review experience.
• Demonstrated interest in civil and commercial litigation.
