Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Advisor to support the Patent Prosecution and Litigation practice group, specifically within the Electrical Engineering and Software team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field, combined with practical experience in wireless communication technologies like 5G and 6G. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team handling complex patent matters.

Duties:

  • Assist with patent prosecution and litigation support in the fields of electrical engineering and software.
  • Conduct technical analysis and research related to patent applications and litigation cases.
  • Draft technical documents and communicate complex concepts in a clear, concise manner.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to formulate case strategies.
  • Support patent portfolio management, including prior art searches and claim analysis.
  • Contribute to the preparation and review of patent filings and related documentation.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, including 5G, 6G, and other wireless technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Previous experience in wireless communication technologies (5G, 6G, and 3GPP standards preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline.
