A law firm in Miami is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney to join the Private Client Services Practice Group, working closely with a Partner who is Florida Bar Board Certified in Wills, Trusts, and Estates. The Senior Associate Attorney will play a key role in the firm's Private Client Services Practice Group, providing legal services in the areas of estate planning, estate and gift taxation, and estate and trust administration. The candidate will collaborate with a Partner who is Florida Bar Board Certified in Wills, Trusts, and Estates. An LLM in Tax or Estate Planning is preferred, and international estate planning experience is a plus. The candidate must be or be willing to become a member of the Florida Bar.

 

Duties:

  • Collaborate with a Partner in the Private Client Services Practice Group.
  • Provide legal services in estate planning, estate and gift taxation, and estate and trust administration.
  • Work with individuals, charitable organizations, foundations, and corporate fiduciaries.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support client needs.
  • Draft legal documents, including wills, trusts, and tax-related documents.
  • Assist in international estate planning matters.

 

Requirements:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • LLM in Tax or Estate Planning is preferred.
  • 5-15 years of relevant experience in estate planning, estate and gift taxation, and trust administration.
  • Florida Bar membership or willingness to become a member.
  • Experience working with charitable organizations, foundations, and corporate fiduciaries.
  • International estate planning experience is a plus.
