Job Overview:

The Oil And Gas Attorney will collaborate with the firm’s Senior Attorneys to deliver on-time, error-free results to clients. They must be licensed in Ohio, West Virginia, or Pennsylvania and possess 1-5 years of experience drafting title opinions in those states. The role requires familiarity with preparing large, unit-wide division order ownerships with tract and allocation factors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and writing skills and an analytical approach to problem-solving. They should also demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with a dynamic team of attorneys, legal professionals, and business support specialists.

Duties:

  • Collaborate with Senior Attorneys to provide legal counsel and representation to oil and gas industry clients.
  • Draft and review title opinions by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Prepare large, unit-wide division order ownerships, considering tract and allocation factors.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to oil and gas matters.
  • Assist in negotiations, transactions, and litigation involving oil and gas interests.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client communications and case developments.

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Ohio, West Virginia, or Pennsylvania.
  • 1-5 years of experience drafting title opinions in relevant states.
  • Strong understanding of oil and gas laws, regulations, and industry practices.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills.
