A law firm is seeking an experienced Energy and Environmental Attorney for our Columbus office. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in governmental administrative hearings and litigation, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance in the energy and environmental sectors.

 

Job Overview:

  • Serve as a key advisor to clients on matters related to energy and environmental law.
  • Represent clients in administrative hearings and litigation proceedings.
  • Provide guidance on regulatory compliance and navigate complex administrative rules affecting energy and environmental industries.

 

Duties:

  • Act as first-chair counsel in governmental administrative hearings and litigation cases.
  • Offer expert advice on regulatory compliance in energy and environmental sectors.
  • Interpret and apply administrative rules impacting clients in the energy and environmental industries.

 

Requirements:

  • Admission to the Ohio Bar is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience practicing law.
  • Extensive experience in governmental administrative hearings and litigation.
  • Proficiency in regulatory compliance within energy and environmental sectors.
  • Familiarity with Ohio EPA, PUCO, and ODNR regulations preferred.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Ohio Bar.
