Immigration Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A reputable and fast-growing law firm based in New York City is seeking an experienced Immigration Associate Attorney to join its legal team. This is a full-time, in-office role for a dynamic, motivated attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering outstanding client service. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of immigration law experience and be eager to grow within a collaborative, high-performing team.

Location:

• New York, NY

Duties:

• Manage a high-volume immigration caseload

• Represent clients in Immigration Court and handle motion practice

• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and legal guidance

• Work independently to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

• Utilize various software and legal applications to manage casework

• Maintain strong client relationships and deescalate stressful situations as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an immigration attorney

• Admission to the Bar in any U.S. jurisdiction

• Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to work in the U.S.

• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

• Demonstrated ability to perform in high-pressure, fast-paced environments

• Strong interpersonal skills and a client-first attitude

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

• New York Bar admission preferred but not required

Skills:

• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

• High proficiency with legal software (experience with Clio Manage and Lawmatics is a plus)

• Comfortable learning and adapting to new technology

• Fluent in multiple languages is a plus
