Employment Attorney

A prominent litigation-focused employment law firm based in Beverly Hills, CA, is seeking a full-time associate attorney with a keen interest in employee rights and labor litigation. This role is ideal for a proactive legal professional looking to develop deep expertise in complex employment disputes, including wage-and-hour matters and discrimination cases. The associate will work on a select docket of impactful matters and contribute to trial preparation, motion work, and high-stakes negotiations in a collaborative and litigation-driven environment.

Duties:

• Represent individual plaintiffs in employment-related disputes, including wage and hour class actions, discrimination, retaliation, and harassment cases

• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions

• Handle litigation milestones including depositions, mediations, court appearances, and settlement discussions

• Conduct in-depth legal research using advanced platforms such as Lexis and Westlaw

• Collaborate with senior attorneys to strategize and execute litigation plans

• Communicate effectively with clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel

• Assist in trial preparation and appellate briefing, when applicable

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in California

• 1-6 years of experience in employment law preferred

• Demonstrated interest in plaintiff-side labor and employment law

• Ability to manage a limited but substantive caseload with minimal supervision

• Experience participating in depositions, court hearings, or mediations is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Member in good standing of the State Bar of California

Skills:
