Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Employment Litigation Attorney in Beverly Hills, CA, to advocate for workers whose rights have been violated. The attorney will handle cases involving wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour violations. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and dedicated advocate who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Duties

  • Handle all aspects of employment litigation, including case strategy, discovery, and motion practice.
  • Represent clients in court, mediations, depositions, and arbitrations.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
  • Manage caseload independently while collaborating with other attorneys and support staff.

Requirements

  • Active member of the California State Bar in good standing.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in employment litigation or related civil litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of California labor and employment law, including FEHA, CFRA, FMLA, and wage and hour regulations.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • California State Bar license.

Skills

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy abilities.
  • Ability to manage a robust caseload in a fast-paced environment.
