The ideal candidate should be admitted to the State Bar of California and possess 3-7 years of relevant experience. This role requires the ability to work independently with limited supervision and handle various tasks related to toxic tort defense, including discovery, depositions, motion preparation, and trial assistance.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to non-asbestos toxic tort matters
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, and other court proceedings
  • Assist in the development and implementation of case strategy
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members
  • Manage and organize case files, documents, and evidence

 

Requirements:

  • Admission to the State Bar of California
  • 3-7 years of experience working on the defense of non-asbestos toxic tort matters
  • Proficiency in conducting discovery and taking depositions
  • Experience preparing and arguing motions
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

 

Certifications:
