Job Overview: A law firm in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney with at least 3+ years of experience in real estate law and finance, particularly in commercial real estate transactions. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, articulate, client-focused, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.


  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
  • Draft and negotiate a variety of real estate agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, and financing documents.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients on a wide range of real estate matters, including land use and zoning issues, title matters, and environmental concerns.
  • Assist with due diligence investigations and property inspections.
  • Represent clients in real estate transactions, negotiations, and dispute resolution proceedings.


  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience practicing real estate law, with a focus on commercial real estate transactions.
  • Strong understanding of real estate finance principles and transaction structures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
