Additionally, it offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with the Associate General Counsel, overseeing Asia Pacific, US, and LATAM, on various international projects. The ideal candidate for this position is a qualified lawyer with 4-8 years of PQE, boasting a strong foundation in commercial law, contract negotiation, and drafting. They should possess a solid track record in project management and the ability to develop and deliver training. The firm welcomes candidates already established in an in-house role or those with a strong inclination to transition in-house. In-depth experience in navigating international legal environments and supporting global clients with cross-border legal issues is highly advantageous. A thorough understanding of corporate, commercial contract, and money laundering laws is essential. The firm particularly values candidates with practice experience at a large or mid-sized law firm, preferably one with a substantial global practice, supplemented by in-house experience. The role requires the candidate to effectively address both strategic and tactical operational legal matters.

Duties:

  • Provide extensive legal counsel and support to the firm's EMEA offices.
  • Engage in international projects by collaborating with the Associate General Counsel for Asia Pacific, US, and LATAM.
  • Manage and oversee contract negotiation and drafting.
  • Lead and contribute to legal projects and initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver legal training for internal stakeholders.
  • Address legal matters pertaining to corporate, commercial contracts, and money laundering laws.
  • Assist in resolving cross-border legal issues and providing support to global clients.
  • Tackle strategic and operational legal challenges effectively.

Requirements:

  • A qualified lawyer with 4-8 years of PQE.
  • Strong background in commercial law.
  • Proficient in contract negotiation and drafting.
  • Project management expertise.
  • Prior experience in developing and delivering training.
  • Willingness to work in an in-house role or demonstrated aspiration to transition in-house.
  • Familiarity with international legal environments.
