Lateral Corporate - Investment Funds Associate Attorney

A law firm in New York City is seeking an experienced Lateral Corporate - Investment Funds Associate Attorney with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. The role will involve working on investment fund matters, including fund formation, structuring, and regulatory compliance.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and support on investment fund matters, including fund formation, structuring, and regulatory compliance.
• Draft and review offering documents, partnership agreements, and related fund formation materials.
• Assist clients in structuring fund investments and negotiating terms with investors.
• Conduct due diligence reviews for fund formation and investment transactions.
• Advise clients on regulatory requirements and compliance issues related to investment funds.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including fund managers, investors, and regulatory authorities.
• Stay updated on developments in investment fund regulations and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar and eligibility to practice law in New York.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on investment funds.
• Strong understanding of investment fund structures, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage complex transactions and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to provide strategic legal advice to clients.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
