Associate Attorney, Labor and Employment

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Sacramento, CA, to support its labor and employment practice advising public entities and non-profits on litigation, investigations, and administrative proceedings.

Duties

• Represent clients in employment litigation, arbitration, and administrative hearings.

• Conduct workplace investigations and deliver training on labor and employment issues.

• Draft legal memoranda, pleadings, and regulatory filings.

• Provide strategic counsel to government and nonprofit clients on policy and compliance.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of legal experience; background in labor and employment preferred.

• Strong academic record with exceptional legal research and writing skills.

• Ability to manage multiple matters and work collaboratively.

• Demonstrated analytical judgment and attention to detail.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
