A law firm located in Stamford, CT, is seeking a Healthcare Compliance Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience in healthcare regulatory compliance matters. The selected candidate will work on a variety of healthcare-related cases, including matters related to the False Claims Act, Antikickback statute, Stark law, reimbursement, and fraud and abuse.

Duties:

  • Analyze healthcare regulatory compliance matters, including the False Claims Act, Antikickback statute, and Stark law issues.
  • Handle payor audits and investigations related to healthcare fraud and abuse.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis of healthcare regulatory and reimbursement issues.
  • Prepare legal documents, including compliance reports and briefs.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and healthcare professionals to provide legal support and counsel.
  • Manage electronic discovery related to healthcare fraud investigations.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in healthcare regulatory compliance matters.
  • Strong knowledge of the False Claims Act, Antikickback statute, and Stark law.
  • Experience in analyzing healthcare regulatory, reimbursement, and fraud and abuse issues.
  • Strong academic credentials, demonstrating a solid legal foundation.
  • Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of New York.

Skills:

  • Proficient in legal research and analysis of healthcare regulatory matters.
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents with precision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
