A law firm is seeking a Construction Associate Attorney for their office in Lexington, KY. The ideal candidate will assist senior attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction contracts, subcontracts, and other related agreements. They will conduct legal research and analysis to support clients in making informed decisions during the due diligence process for construction projects. Job Overview:

  • Assist senior attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction contracts, subcontracts, and related agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support clients in making informed decisions during the due diligence process for construction projects.
  • Develop strong working relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, and providing legal advice aligned with their business objectives.
  • Organize and manage legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Stay current on construction law developments, regulations, and industry trends to provide relevant and effective legal advice.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to deliver comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance legal skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Kentucky State Bar (or ability to obtain admission).
