Supervising Attorney - Personal Injury Pre-Litigation

A law firm in Irvine is seeking a Supervising Attorney - Personal Injury Pre-Litigation with at least 2 years of experience in Personal Injury law. The successful candidate will lead a team of attorneys and case managers, manage a significant caseload, and provide compassionate client service while striving to achieve the largest possible settlements for wrongful death, traumatic brain injury (TBI), catastrophic injury, and major orthopedic cases.

Duties:

• Lead a team of attorneys and case managers in pursuing maximum settlements for wrongful death, TBI, catastrophic injury, and major orthopedic cases.
• Manage a significant caseload and provide informative and compassionate client service.
• Collaborate with multiple departments, including Property Damage, Case Management, Demands/Negotiation, and Liens.
• Communicate daily with clients regarding legal strategy and treatment plans.
• Analyze fact patterns to establish liability and clear coverage.
• Supervise and provide guidance and counsel to team members.
• Settle cases in the pre-litigation stage, utilizing strong negotiation skills.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Requirements:

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• At least 2 years of experience in Personal Injury law.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise and provide guidance.
• Experience settling cases in the pre-litigation stage.
• Spanish fluency is a plus.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in California.
