Insurance Defense Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Irvine, CA, seeks a motivated and skilled Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing clients in insurance defense matters, handling various legal tasks, and providing exceptional legal counsel.

Duties:

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Prepare for and participate in case strategy meetings with partners and senior attorneys.
• Manage case files and ensure deadlines are met.
• Assist with trial preparation as necessary.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in insurance defense or related field.
• Juris has a doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Bar admission in California and good standing.
• Proficiency in conducting legal research and analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work product.
• Experience in insurance defense is preferred but not required.

Education:

• Juris has a doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
