Duties

• Advise public and private employers on employment-related matters, including policies, wage and hour compliance, employee relations, and workplace risk management

• Handle litigation across all stages including discovery, depositions, motions, trial preparation, and appeals

• Draft and review employment agreements, handbooks, and policy documents

• Stay abreast of developments in employment law and provide proactive counsel to clients

• Collaborate with attorneys and clients to develop practical, business-centered legal solutions

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in labor and employment law, including litigation

• Experience representing employers in both advisory and litigation contexts

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex matters efficiently

• Strong commitment to professional excellence and client service

• Trial experience considered a plus

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
