Job Overview:

As an Intellectual Property Attorney, you will provide legal counsel and representation in various areas of intellectual property law, including trademark, copyright, trade secrets, and privacy. You will handle a diverse range of tasks, including trademark and copyright prosecution, IP litigation, contract drafting, licensing agreements, and privacy compliance.

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and counsel on intellectual property matters to clients.
  • Conduct trademark and copyright prosecution and portfolio management, both domestically and internationally.
  • Handle intellectual property litigation cases.
  • Draft and negotiate software and technology contracts, licensing agreements, franchise, and distribution arrangements.
  • Advise on marketing and advertising claims to ensure compliance with intellectual property laws.
  • Assist in matters related to trade secrets protection and enforcement.
  • Ensure privacy and data security compliance for clients.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensure to practice law in good standing in Pennsylvania.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in trademark/copyright law.
  • Strong understanding of intellectual property laws, including trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
  • Exceptional analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and detail-oriented.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensure to practice law in Pennsylvania.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in trademark and copyright prosecution and portfolio management.
  • Experience in IP litigation.
  • Contract drafting and negotiation skills.
