The Senior Attorney will primarily be responsible for conducting and defending depositions, managing a case docket, and representing clients in court proceedings. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interactions with clients, legal professionals, and third parties. The role also involves producing high-quality deliverables, promptly responding to correspondence, and consistently meeting deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in civil litigation, along with excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct and defend depositions
  • Manage a case docket efficiently
  • Represent clients in court appearances
  • Communicate effectively with clients, legal professionals, and third parties
  • Produce high-quality deliverables in a timely manner
  • Respond promptly to phone calls and correspondence
  • Meet deadlines and perform assigned duties diligently
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activities as required
  • Undertake any other duties or projects as assigned by the firm

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil litigation
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Experience with multi-district litigation is desirable

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of Georgia (or ability to waive in)
