Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.
  • Handle due diligence, document drafting, negotiations, and closing of real estate transactions.
  • Research and analyze legal issues related to real estate matters, including regulatory compliance, zoning, and land use.
  • Collaborate with clients, partners, and senior associates to develop legal strategies and solutions.
  • Attend meetings, hearings, and negotiations on behalf of clients.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of transactional experience in commercial real estate, with a focus on acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.
  • Experience in renewables is highly preferred.
  • Strong academic record with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Ohio Bar or eligibility to become admitted to the Ohio Bar.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical and research skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and handle a high volume of work.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
