Commercial Litigation/Insurance Coverage Attorney

A law firm in Cherry Hill, NJ, is seeking a Commercial Litigation/Insurance Coverage Attorney with 2-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing skills and be confident in appearing before courts and clients. Bar admission in NJ is helpful.

Duties:

• Handle a variety of commercial litigation matters with a focus on insurance coverage disputes
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Analyze insurance policies and coverage issues
• Provide advice and counsel to clients on insurance coverage matters
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations
• Manage discovery, including document review and production
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers
• Develop case strategies and provide litigation support to senior attorneys
• Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes
• Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends in insurance coverage litigation

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage litigation
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Bar admission in NJ (helpful)
