Duties:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial leases, with a focus on retail and industrial properties.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on leasing issues, providing guidance and recommendations to clients.
  • Assist senior attorneys in lease negotiations and transactions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their concerns and providing updates on leasing matters.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including other attorneys and support staff, to ensure efficient lease processing.
  • Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends impacting leasing transactions.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from accredited institutions.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial leases, preferably from a well-known real estate firm.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.

 

Education:

Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from accredited institutions.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the New York State Bar.
