A law firm in Phoenix is seeking a Mid-level Transactional Associate Attorney with experience in drafting documents related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and conducting due diligence. The ideal candidate must possess excellent academic credentials, strong organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both legal and non-legal professionals.

 

Duties:

  • Draft documents related to mergers and acquisitions
  • Conduct due diligence in preparation for transactions
  • Analyze legal documents and contracts
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
  • Collaborate with legal and non-legal professionals
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Research legal issues and prepare legal memoranda
  • Assist with negotiations and deal structuring
  • Handle various aspects of transactional matters
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Assist with business development efforts as needed

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in transactional law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions preferred
  • Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school
  • Admission to the State Bar of Arizona or eligibility for admission by reciprocity
  • Strong organizational, drafting, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

 

Education & Certifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
