A law firm in St. Louis is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney with 2+ years of prior experience handling transactional real estate work. The ideal candidate must have an excellent academic record, with a ranking in the top 1/3 of the graduating class preferred.

 

Duties:

  • Handle transactional real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
  • Draft and review real estate agreements, contracts, leases, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct due diligence and title examinations for real estate transactions.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on real estate matters.
  • Assist with negotiations and closings of real estate deals.
  • Collaborate with partners, clients, and other stakeholders on real estate projects.

 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of prior experience handling transactional real estate work.
  • Excellent academic record, with a ranking in the top 1/3 of the graduating class preferred.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Missouri or eligibility for admission by waiver.

 

Skills:

  • Knowledge of real estate law and transactions.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to conduct due diligence and title examinations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
