The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, specific expertise in financial services matters, and experience with government agencies such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, bank regulatory agencies, or a state attorney general.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in financial services enforcement and litigation matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to financial regulations and compliance.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a nationally recognized law school.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial services enforcement or litigation.
  • Strong academic achievement throughout law school.
  • Admitted to the bar in the state of Illinois.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • Familiarity with government agencies, including the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, bank regulatory agencies, or a state attorney general.
