Offshore Energy and Maritime Partnership Track Associate Attorney

A law firm based in New Orleans, LA, is seeking an Offshore Energy and Maritime Partnership Track Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience in offshore energy, maritime, and admiralty law. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, strong research, writing, communication, and advocacy skills, along with a track record of high achievement. A current Louisiana State Bar license is required.

Duties:

• Handle various legal matters related to offshore energy, maritime, and admiralty law.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide legal analysis on complex issues.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and clients to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.
• Assist in the preparation and review of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Stay updated on developments in offshore energy, maritime, and admiralty law.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• 2-5 years of experience in offshore energy, maritime, and admiralty law.
• Excellent academic credentials with a strong academic record.
• Strong research, writing, communication, and advocacy skills.
• Track record of high achievement in legal practice.
• A current Louisiana State Bar license is required.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
