Litigation Of Counsel

Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm is seeking an experienced Of Counsel attorney to join its litigation team. The role will focus heavily on high-stakes pharmaceutical and medical device product liability cases and requires substantial expertise in Daubert and Rule 702 motion practice. This attorney will contribute to litigation strategy, supervise junior attorneys, and engage directly with clients and experts.

Location:

• New York, NY

Duties:

• Draft and review discovery responses, briefs, motions, and legal memoranda

• Lead Daubert and Rule 702 motion practice within complex litigation matters

• Manage and mentor junior attorneys and litigation staff

• Collaborate with experts to build case strategy

• Communicate with clients on case updates, legal findings, and developments

• Participate in fact development, including deposition preparation and analysis

• Contribute to overall litigation planning and execution

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in litigation, preferably at an AmLaw 100 or similar firm

• Significant experience with Rule 702 and Daubert motion drafting and argument

• Demonstrated success in product liability matters

• Background in pharmaceutical or medical device litigation preferred

• Ability to handle large, complex litigation independently and as part of a team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

• Strong academic performance from a nationally recognized institution

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the jurisdiction of application

• Admission to the New York Bar highly encouraged
