Mid-to-Senior level Associate Attorney

A law firm in New York City is actively seeking a Mid-to-Senior level Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience. The successful candidate will bring excellent academic credentials from a top-tier law school and expertise in representing established and new fund sponsors in the formation of private investment funds, separate accounts, and other investment vehicles.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel in the formation of private investment funds, separate accounts, and other investment vehicles.
• Represent both established and new fund sponsors in various aspects of fund formation.
• Draft and review fund-related documentation, including private placement memoranda, partnership agreements, and subscription documents.
• Conduct legal due diligence on fund-related matters.
• Advise clients on regulatory and compliance issues related to investment funds.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop effective legal strategies.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a top-tier law school.
• Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
• 3+ years of experience in representing fund sponsors in the formation of private investment funds, separate accounts, and other investment vehicles.
