Premise Liability Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm specializing in premises liability cases seeks a dynamic Premises Liability Associate Attorney to join their team in Jacksonville, FL. Duties:

• Coordinate discovery and discovery efforts with paralegal and other legal support staff.
• Manage a pre-lit premise team, overseeing case development and strategy.
• Guide plaintiff clients through the case process, providing support and legal advice.
• Interact with expert witnesses, including arranging conferences, drafting expert reports, and affidavits.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions on various legal issues relevant to premises liability cases.
• Draft litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, motions, and memoranda of law.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in premise liability law.
• Strong leadership skills to build and manage a legal team effectively.
• Ability to interact with clients during their needs, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
• Determination to achieve the best results for clients and to win cases.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
